RCT Foodbanks host Community Conversations events

This week, our Campaign Coordinator, Matt, working with Rhondda and Pontypridd Foodbanks, organised Community Conversations events in RCT.

These events sought to bring together the foodbanks staff and volunteers, our referral partners, local independent foodbanks and pantries, and everyone else working to help people in crisis, to share what we are all seeing and hearing in our communities, discuss how we can work more closely together to help reduce hunger and hardship in RCT, and share our campaign for an Essentials Guarantee.

We massively appreciate so many of you turning up to share the work you are doing and support our campaign – the positive feedback we have received is incredibly useful, and we are planning to organise more of these events going forward.

It is vital that we all work together in our shared goal of helping those in crisis in RCT.
