Taff-Ely Foodbank celebrates Volunteers Week 2026

Taff-Ely Foodbank, and indeed foodbanks across the country, wouldn't be able to do the vital work we do without the support of a community of incredible volunteers. That's why we are celebrating Volunteers Week 2026!

Our volunteers form the backbone of our work. Some volunteer in our warehouse, ensuring food is weighed in and bags are packed. Others run our distribution centres, ensuring people facing crisis are greeted not only with emergency food, but a cup of tea, a smile, and a listening ear. Some give their time to fundraise for us, running stalls at community days or helping at our food collections, ensuring we have the support from the community that we need to keep going.

No matter how you give your time, volunteering at Taff-Ely Foodbank makes a massive difference to so many people and ensures we can support people to not only make it through their crisis, but to get out of the crisis altogether.
