Taff-Ely Foodbank joins call to scrap two-child limit

No child should know what a food bank is, let alone need one. But right now, almost a third of food parcels provided by the Trussell Trust network go to families with three or more children.

We all know how quickly life can change. If you’ve been managing to raise three kids, but illness or job loss means your income drops, you shouldn’t be left with no choice but a food bank.

Our social security system should protect families, not leave children going hungry. That’s why Taff-Ely Foodbank is joining the call to remove the two-child limit, one of the most effective ways to stop children being pushed into poverty.
